Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers

  • Our team have experience working with unaccompanied asylum seeking children and recognise the importance of making these young people feel safe and comfortable within their new environment.

  • We support service users seeking asylum throughout the entire home office process. We locate a suitable solicitor to support with the legal proceedings and accompany them to all solicitor an home office meetings.

  • We are understanding of the extreme pressures that young people endure during this process and we support their emotional needs ensuring that they feel their voices are heard.

  • We work with a number of agencies that provide multi-lingual staff to support those who do not have English as a first language.

  • Our staff liaise with culturally led organisations that offer young people familiarity and a sense of community.

  • Those who have lost communication with family and friends will be supported by our team to contact the Red Cross in attempt to reconnect with their loved ones.
